What You Should Know about Fasting?

The body is a living organism, a group of billions of living cells. Each of these cells is so big that it can be comfortably placed on the tip of a needle, yet it represents a small autonomous province whose complex system and always ongoing work we cannot even imagine.

And that master of the cells of your body is YOU: Whatever command you give, the cells obediently direct the created energy towards the execution of your command.

For example, if you want to throw a ball, all the cells of your body obediently direct energy to the body’s movements for throwing the ball.

If you want to do a math task, all the cells of your body send energy to your brain for performing cognitive functions in order to do the calculation successfully.

If you put any source of calories in your digestive track, all the cells of your body direct energy to digestion, assimilation and elimination.

Whenever you do not give commands, your cells continue to work loyally on the most important work, and that is to continuously direct energy to self-cleansing and self-healing processes of the body.

Fast means REST at all levels and is carried out by abstaining from activities, that is, by practicing what is the opposite of the activities for a given group:

  • physical fast – SLEEPING / RESTING / LYING
  • physiological fasting – NOT PUTTING ANYTHING INTO THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM EXCEPT WATER (because water has no calories, so it does not start the digestive system to work, and it is necessary for the functions of the body through which the body is cleansed and healed);

When the body seeks resting, that is, when it shows signs of fatigue, tiredness and fever.
